As I stated in my Anthony Logistics Sport Pre Shave Oil review, I had never used a pre shave oil before. The sport version was the first shaving oil I had ever used. I have very fine facial hair and just I thought that using a pre shave oil was something that I did not need. I always thought it was just for guys with thick facial hair or beards. Boy was I wrong!!!

So after using the Anthony Logistics Sport Shave Oil and being thoroughly impressed, I was excited to try the Rolls Royce of Anthony Logistics Pre Shave Oils. Think of the sport version as the Mercedes of the shaving line. What really got me excited about this particular pre shave oil was the list of high quality ingredients that this product boasts. I mean how can you go wrong with Olive Oil, Eucalyptus Oil, Peppermint Oil and Rosemary Oil, plus Vitamin E in one bottle? You can’t, trust me!!!

So as usual, I went about by normal morning routine, Coffee, Shower and onto my morning shave. After the morning shower I hopped out and dried myself off. Dried my face and grabbed the bottle of Anthony Logistics Pre-Shave Oil. I poured a dime sized amount onto the palm of my hand and gave it a sniff to see what it smelled like. Right of the bat I could smell the Peppermint and Eucalyptus oils. It kind of reminded me of Christmas a little bit. I really liked the scent of this product in the morning, it kind of gives you a little pick me up.

The next step was to rub it in my hands and apply it evenly to my entire face and neck. It really went on evenly and smoothly. I let the oil sit on my face for about a minute to really let it soften my facial hairs and begin to condition my face. During this minute I washed my hands and get all of the oil off. The oil comes off easily with a little soap and water.

Now to add a shaving Cream or Gel to my face and begin the shaving process. For this review I decided to use the Anthony Logistics Sport Shave Cream to be consistent with my previous shave using the Sport shave oil. I applied the shaving cream to my face and grabbed my trusty razor and went to work. Shaving downward, my blade glided down my face so smoothly and effortlessly that I thought I left the cover on the blade. I checked just to make sure, and sure enough there was no cover on the blade.

After finishing my shave I washed my face off and applied some after shave. I waited a few minutes for the after shave to soak in and dry before checking to see just how close of a shave I had gotten. After my face fully dried I ran the back of my hand up my face and was astonished that it felt as smooth as it did. People throw around the term “Soft as a babies butt” a lot, but this was one instance where I feel the term was justified. I had never felt such a close shave before. After this review I am totally hooked on using Pre Shave Oils, and Anthony Logistics Pre-Shave Oil is my new product of choice.

In conclusion I highly recommend using a pre shave oil every time that you shave. Even if you have fine facial hair like myself. The close shave that you get is amazing and the way your skin feels is totally worth the extra effort. I really liked the Anthony Logistics Sport Pre Shave Oil, which I consider the Mercedes of Pre Shave Oils; but I am hooked on the Anthony Logistics Pre-Shave Oil which I consider the Rolls Royce of Pre Shaving products. Give a Pre Shave Oil a try! I am convinced you will enjoy them as much as I do and get much closer shaves every morning, and hey, anything worth doing is worth doing right.
